I can help you worry and obsess less.
As someone with lived experience of both anxiety and OCD, I know how overwhelming and isolating it can feel when your mind won’t shut off, when you’re caught in cycles of worry, rumination, or rituals that seem impossible to break. I also know the incredible relief that comes from finding the right kind of treatment.
Many of the clients I work with, both adults and children, arrive feeling exhausted. They’ve been doing the invisible work all day long, fighting off intrusive thoughts, managing physical symptoms, hiding compulsions, or avoiding anything that might trigger their anxiety. Their goals are simple but deeply meaningful: to find peace of mind, trust in themselves, and the freedom to live without fear.
That’s where I come in.
I specialize in treating OCD and anxiety disorders using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and other evidence-based therapies. My approach is active and collaborative. We’ll work together to design exposures that directly target your unique fears, obsessions, and compulsions. Whatever “subtype” you’re dealing with, I understand how sneaky and shape-shifting OCD can be, and I’m skilled at helping you recognize even the more subtle compulsions that keep you stuck. I also work with eating disorders and body dysmorphia (BDD), both of which share similar patterns of intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and avoidance.
In addition to OCD and anxiety, I also have a strong background in treating trauma and PTSD. I’m trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a highly effective approach for helping people, both kids and adults, process traumatic memories and reduce the emotional charge they carry. Whether your trauma is recent or rooted in the past, we’ll work at a pace that feels safe and empowering.
What sets me apart is the human, nuanced approach I bring to this work. I’ll challenge you when it’s helpful, but always with care and compassion. I’ll hold space for your fears while also helping you loosen their grip. Therapy with me isn’t just a place to vent, it’s a space for growth and transformation. And no, it doesn’t have to be miserable. There’s room for humor, connection, and real moments of relief along the way.
Outside of therapy, I’m a mom to a little girl, a Great Dane, and a chameleon. That part of my life keeps me grounded, and it shapes how I show up for clients, with empathy, realism, and a deep belief that change is possible, no matter how long you’ve been struggling.
